Has gone downhill a *little* bit in food quality. They have a new menu and maybe a new cook. They remodeled recently and set up a stage for local bands which is awesome but that may be why I come here instead of the food.
I used to make this my main stop for shrimp and oyster po boys. We got both today and I wasn't as impressed as I used to be, especially compared to Claiborne's po's. Bread was dry, and it wasn't dressed like it used to be. They replaced their ridiculously awesome hush puppies on the side with some frozen fries. Prices went up too. My foot long Oyster po was $24.99.
I'll attach some pictures of the new menu. read more
