First time trying out Ramen Arashi. They have several locations (Banff, Canmore, Calgary and Victoria). We dropped in for a late Wednesday lunch (1:30pm). Friendly, all Japanese staff. The inside can seat 20 individuals. Service was friendly and waters refilled several times. - Original tonkotsu ($15.99) - pork bone broth was light. Lacked a creamy, rich complexity. Asked for my noodles firm, which had a decent bite. Best item was the two slices of chashu, torched and tender. - Yuzu shio ($15.99) - switched for rice noodles ($1.00 extra). Yuzu broth had a slight citrusy note. Plenty of noodles but only one chashu slice. Decent ramen at RA. 3.5 stars. read more
