What can we say about this week's find? New for us, but not new. Voted New Mexico's most unusual restaurant by https://shebudgets.com/food-drink/unusual-restaurants-in-each-state/. We went there for the tchotchkes but stayed for the food. You have to be there to really appreciate both. Excellent food - make sure you see the pizza. You order at a counter, and they call out your name when it's ready. Did I mention we went there for the ambiance? The interior is a feast for the eyes. Conveniently located right off the Mother Road (aka Historic Route 66 or AKA Central Avenue), right across from the main arch entry into the University of New Mexico. You really gotta go there. Take our tour by clicking on the following YouTube video link and see why Saggios is now right up there with our most favorite places. Beware: parking is tough, so get there before they open, and you will likely get a spot in their parking lot. Most highly recommended. https://youtu.be/-lXFrdoGBMw?si=PoVL0nrznKqpZunJ read more
