Wow I must say this place is quite amazing. The quality of the food made by Chef Tu is nothing like I've ever had before. My friends and I decided to go on an SF trip before one of them had to leave for the marines. My boyfriend suggested Precita since Chef Tu was a childhood friend of his and has never visited in years. Little did we know what we heading into. First of all, the place has a great vibe with excellent customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly and has great sense of humor. I especially like how the chefs make everything from scratch because its fresh and super yummy seeing how they use organic products whenever possible. For starters, we had the Warm House Made Burrata and SF Poutine which were both excellent dishes. The cheese on the burrata was heavenly and fresh with the fact that it was made literally two hours before unlike most places which buy their cheese that has been made somewhere else and shipped all around. It even had an edible flower to top it off beautifully which actually tasted delightful. My friend said "I even ate a flower, and I'm still smiling!" For the main course, we ordered the Grilled Salmon and the Handcrafted Margherita Pizza. The salmon tasted so fresh and flavorful with the other things on the dish that complimented it quite well. Did they just catch that fish the same day? Or do they have a garden with all these vegetables growing in the back? Because everything tasted so fresh! The Margherita pizza was exquisite with the cheese, tomato sauce, and basil. Every bite felt so heavenly that my friend ignored his calls to enjoy his food until he was done eating his entire dish. For dessert, we got the banana split with three ice cream flavors along with cherries to top it off nicely. As I was eating deeper into the dessert, I noticed the banana had actually been warmly cooked to contrast with cold ice cream. Every bite had a warm/cold delicious taste to it ^.^ Overall, this is definitely a place I'd come back to whenever I visit SF. Probably will come back here when my friend returns from the marines.
