A Sharp Fella is an "old school" barber shop in downtown Riverhead New York. The service here is excellent and the atmosphere brings you back to what a barbershop is supposed to be. Places like this are hard to find these days with the chain barbershops taking over. My son and I stopped in for quick haircuts last Saturday. Our barber did a great job cleaning up our unruly heads of hair. She was nice and professional and took us even though we didn't have an appointment. The shop has a nostalgic feel to it with the decor and the music that was playing (Sinatra). The prices here are reasonable (for Long Island). I miss places like this. read more
