Absolutely wonderful service. I have never used a tailor for anything before, but I purchased a dress for my wedding and it needed a lot of work. It was a silky flowy bohemian style dress that I bought online. I brought it in and showed her like 5 things that I wanted done, including taking the dress in like 2 whole sizes, shortening it, taking the plunging neckline in so it wasn't as revealing, and slimming up the poofy sleeves. She said no problem, told me it would be ready in a week and charged me $140. When I came in and tried the dress on again, it was a huge improvement and looked stunning. I received compliments on it from two different customers that were there when I came in. I asked if she could take it in a little more and asked her to take the poofy bohemian style sleeves and make them tighter AND add cuffs with gold buttons. She did NOT charge me anything for these additional alterations! She told me to come back in THREE days and it was done. The dress fit like a glove and the "from scratch" modifications she made for me were perfect. I sent my mother to her to have her dress (for my wedding) altered and she did a great job again. I will definitely come back for future alterations big and small now that I know how great they do, how kind and accommodating they are, and how affordable they are. read more
