I recently purchased a can of Minwax wood stain labeled "Espresso" from this store. When I got home and tested it, the color was completely wrong--more like a yellow pecan than anything resembling espresso. I brought it back to the store expecting a simple return or exchange. The manager, Georgina, even acknowledged that the color was way off and not what was advertised. Despite that, she refused to return or exchange it, stating it was store policy--even though it was a standard, off-the-shelf item and not a custom order. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters. Georgina's customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. With management like this, it's hard to justify supporting a small business that doesn't stand behind the products it sells. Very disappointed--I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more
