We rented a dumpster from them and the beginning was a positive experience until they attempted to pick it up. We wanted to support a local business. The driver came in after a snowstorm and attempted to pick it up and spun his tires in my front yard until he decided he couldn't get it. Fast forward to a couple weeks later. The dumpster is still here and the driver attempts to pick it up again. I come home and I see the truck pulling away and my driveway is now tore up and more of my lawn. They told me they needed more traction in order to get the dumpster. He came on a day where the temperature hit 50. Prior to that the temperature had been fluctuating so much between warmer and freezing so that day our yard was a sloppy mess. Now one would think that a driver could use his common sense and realize there's no way he can get the dumpster but no he must destroy my property more to show that he made another pickup attempt. When I contacted affordable dumpsters they told me it was my responsibility to clear away all the ice and snow. Which yes I realize is an issue but we have a gravel driveway and there isn't much we can do. The day before they came I had put over 100lbs of salt on my driveway and it did absolutely nothing. What else am I supposed to do? They told me I was basically SOL and that they will not compensate me for any of the damage they have caused. I will never do business with them again and will not be recommending them to anyone. I would give zero stars if I could. read more
