Atrocious business run by horrible people. My girlfriend wanted to take me kiteboarding for my birthday so she tried to arrange a lesson with Air Support. We had both taken a few lessons before and gotten up by ourselves but still thought having an instructor there would be nice. Since we were driving from Boston, we wanted tried coordinating in advance with them to no avail. The morning of the lesson we got a 9am call barking at us to get on the road to get down there. It did take us awhile and we updated them along the way but we finally made it and the conditions were still good. After paying $450 in cash for the two of us, it took them over two hours to get us on the water. First they needed to find the instructor, then the instructor didn't have a pump for the kite, then an endless debate as to what kite we should fly ensued. Finally, when we got on the water we were shocked to watch our instructor go kite out into the distance for over an hour while we watched. In all, the guy probably spent over two hours kiting around while my gf and I spent collectively less than 45 minutes with the kite. We should of asked for our money back but we didn't. The real insanity came the next day when we awoke to a text message from the business owner calling us the "douchiest couple of the year." These people are just trash. read more
