We are absolutely thrilled with the gorgeous renovation of our deck and the fine craftsmanship that made it possible provided by Glen Rodrigue and his team from All Decked Out! They undoubtedly provided the best value for fairest price. Our old deck was 22 years old and showing its age with weather-worn, loose boards, nail pops, and a 'slapped together' look that had become an eyesore. We also have a walkout underneath the deck with a large usable space that was under-utilized, and we wanted to take advantage of our deck renovation to change that. Glen immediately stood out from the other contractors we talked to as someone who listened well and clearly understood what we were after. He was able to identify good workable solutions and gave us the time we needed to consider all our options. For the deck material we wanted a solution that looked great but wouldn't become too hot from the sun. Glen recommended MoistureShield® with Cool Deck® Technology in the color Cathedral Stone, which would go well with our siding. We were able to compare a sample of that to samples of other composites in direct sunlight, and the difference is amazing. To make our space under the deck usable, Glen recommended a dry deck system with a gutter and a PVC beadboard ceiling. For the deck railing Glen suggested Trex Signature® black aluminum rails with glass infills which would enable us to maximize our views of the scenic area around us. Glen's quote was thorough, detailed, and easy to understand. The pricing was competitive and included everything we discussed. Options were clearly identified and allowed us to select our desired configuration. The All Decked Out work crew were meticulous and clearly took pride in their work. Overall, they were professional, hardworking, friendly, neat, and polite. Glen stopped by almost daily to check the progress and resolve any issues. He provided daily status reports and responded immediately to any questions we came up with. It was clear his top priority was to make us happy. We are extremely happy with the final product and are really enjoying using our renovated deck and the fantastic space underneath it.
