I've collected vintage Marantz gear for years now. When I got them, Alpha Tech was my first stop. Expect a backlog. Good things come to those who wait. Understand, the guys are up there in years. There are hardly any young techs out there to replace them when they retire. They brought back a 2230 that was for all intents trash. It's now my prized piece. Over the course of a year I researched updating my Marantz 6100 turntable including sending a plinth to Serbia to have Ash veneer put on it, had a new dust cover made, new connections cables, a new cork mat and the shop sold me a lightly used Ortofon Blue cartridge.
