This place has really low food quality. On more than one instance I've had to throw away groceries from here. Ive thrown out produce that smells like weird chemicals. Ive opened a sweet cheese that was rotten. During Ramadan, I went to open a box of dates I had gotten for my guests and they were old and shriveled up which was so embarrassing because we break our fast with dates and they were bad. Decided to give them another chance and the bread is moldy. I have tried to politely talk to the owner before and he catches an attitude. It's so unfortunate because this is one of the only halal meat places/ middle eastern grocer in Katy. Wish it was better. Attached photos is from my most recent experience. read more
