This is a fabulous park! You'll find tennis courts, soccer fields, running/walking/bike paths, a fitness course, skate park, basketball courts, sand volleyball area, pool with water slides, dog park (with separate areas for large and small dogs), playground, community center, and beautiful scenery complete with Amazon Creek running through the middle of it all. Really what DOESN'T this park have?! If you're into bird watching, you'll see lots of bluejays and ducks hunting for food. If you're a dog lover or have dogs of your own, this would definitely be the place to dog watch or dog walk. If you go on the right day, you may even see people flying their model airplanes. The park stretches over about 100 acres and includes the Adidas/Rexius Trail, a 5.5 mile wood-chip jogging path with distance markers for runners. I would say the only negative about the park is that it can get crowded, especially on beautiful sunny days - so if you're looking for some peace and quiet away from the rest of civilization, I'd say you should look elsewhere.
