We used (John) or shawn . It's a total bait and switch scam . First was quoted 600 and a specific day . No show on said day so we had to leave town . Our first contract also said 200 pounds of weight free of charge . So Shawn or John called and said he had to find a new carrier and said carrier was demanding 1 per mile . So new price to ship is 2300 . For a 1600 mile trip , make that make sense . So when second carrier finally shows he's a "no weight " carrier . He either wants 450 additional dollars or he will drop my car from pickup . They know they have you at their mercy . So a 600 bait and switch cost 2750 in the end . Offered them my kidney next , said they didn't need my kidney . F@&! This broker and their scam business. Then they see your bad review and call you and threaten that they will drop your car where it is and not deliver until you delete your review . So I deleted it and reposted once car was delivered. When car was delivered the driver was so nice and was totally up front that he didn't make any of these demands and that he hadn't been communicating with me . The text language was similar to John (Shawn ) whoever I was stuck with . So I believe the driver making these demands was either Shawn John himself from a different cell phone number (texts only ) or a coworker . Driver readily admitted he only made 1800 from this shipment so the "driver demands" of 950 lines up with what Ameri Auto Transport made as a broker . Do NOT deal with this scam business . Read reviews and BBB . I fully expect a call once Shawn or John see this new review threatening me but he has nothing to hold over my head at this point so screw him and the high horse he rode on in .
