Avoid at all costs. Not a good training environment at all. Malik is very toxic and as another reviewer said, if you ask him something more than once he will be hostile. He can be very condescending and mean to his students and workers and during the short time i was there all 3 of his instructors left within a month or so of being hired and i do not blame them (2 confided in me about the poor working environment and him in particular). Some of his students also left him, a girl told me he was her first instructor and multiple people have over 40/50 hours and have never soloed. I was only there to rent a plane for time building but a lot of the things i was told over the phone were not the same when i actually arrived, he kept trying to pressure me to stay and finish my training with him, even contacting my dad behind my back to convince him to trap me there. He kept trying to hire me illegally even though i was on an M1 visa. The aircraft although they look good from the outside all have certain issues which should really be fixed ASAP,( i flew over 60 hours on N55162 trust me when i say this!). I made the mistake of paying him for 70 hours upfront (after being pestered and pressured continuously) and i only flew 64 hours, its been weeks and he still refuses to send me back the balance. This man is very dodgy and the 2 weeks i spent with him were some of the most toxic and worse in my life and i would not wish that experience upon my worse enemy. Most importantly he is horrible in the cockpit and does not know how to motivate or encourage students, he talks down on you which adds stress and pressure on the student and lowers confidence which can be very dangerous, i have once turned the aircraft around from holding short of the runway and taxied back to the ramp due to him continuously eating away at my confidence and self-esteem. Please beware and stay safe! UPDATE: he threatened to never give the refund if I don't take down the review, as he does with a lot of bad reviews. I took it down momentarily but he still refused to send it. He also claims that he paid for my lunches (which I did 95% of the time) and payed for hotel, (which I payed him 350 dollars for) he loves to try and lie and guilt trip.
