1st time I have ever had a car collision! I wasn't even driving, my son was. So I asked my tow truck driver to take me to the nearest repair shop, and he dropped me off here. I spoke with and met the owner Manuel Alonso. He seemed like a good guy and honest. A few days later the insurance claims guy went to check it out and called me he would issues the check. Now here is when things get funny, he said he tried 3 times, but the check could not be issued and kept bouncing back. He said the tax id # was no good. I called Alonzo and again, he said it's the same number they have had for yrs and that is it fine. All this back and forth just resulted in more delays! So now, Erie insurance has mailed the 2 party check to me, I have to send it to the back all the way in California, and they will send it back to me signed. This is going to take an extra 4 days at least. What a mess! So it could be Erie messed u, or Ameri-Tech has no valid tax ID #. So there you go, you've been warned. Also, if you check online, there is no website or any other listings for this shop, so I also found that strange. It's almost like the shop doesn't exist! But I'm posting a photo that the man, Manuel gave me, as proof that this shop does exist! read more
