We stayed a night in Middlebury and were hungry for pizza. It was a short walk from the Inn. Located downtown, across from the park along the river and waterfall. We called and asked if we needed reservations if we arrived at 5, I was told no reservation needed. When we arrived, it seemed to come across that reservations are needed. After a short wait, we were seated directly across from the pizza oven. We ordered the Evolution salad, organic greens with a raspberry vinaigrette. It was fantastic. The New Vermont Sausage pizza was the best I had enjoyed in a long time. Just stupendous. The server was excellent. She was training a new employee. Watching the young man at the pizza oven was a delight. Good thing I had a cold beer. read more
