Being an aficionado of American Legions, having been to more of them than I can count, I found Post 37 to be particularly nice. It has a great location just off the Bridge of the Lions, plenty of spacious room, a great bar and adding to that, the fact that it is open to the general public during certain hours makes it more inviting than most. Legion members get a reduced rate on drinks, but even without the reduced rate, the drinks are generally better and less expensive than in the other local bars. The building structure along with the general interior design also adds to its ambiance. So, whether you are a Legion member or not, it makes a great place to sit down and hang for an enjoyable drink and some good company. read more
