There is something about this branch that makes the Amici dining experience better. I couldn't tell you right now what exactly it is--the ambience (right next to an ugly, busy road), the servers (polite, cheerful, attentive), or the food itself (exactly the same as the food served in other Amicis).
Maybe the food is more... genuinely Amici here. Heck, maybe I'm just imagining things. Whatever the case, I find that I do enjoy this branch more than the others.
While it may be unconventional, let's begin with dessert. Caramia has a complete array of gelato flavors at this branch. My personal favorite is Ferrero (IKR, shocker). While their gelato isn't as rich and smooth as that of Gelatone, just the flavor options make Caramia a winning brand.
As for main courses, I love the Ai Tesori Del Mare, which is a seafood oil-based pasta with lots of tomatoes, shellfish, and pasta expertise. I like to bathe the whole thing in lots and lots of parmesan cheese and make sure that each bite has tomato in it.
If you find yourself in this branch near Don Bosco, ask for Christian. The servers here all seem to be really good at their jobs, but Christian is the cutest! Hihihihi. Ladies, that's another reason to patronize this Amici branch. read more
