This independent donut shop is operated by the lovely and gregarious Rena, who immediately makes you feel very welcome. Made me feel like I was a long lost friend.
There are a multitude of choices in the expansive display cases, and it does take time to check them all out, especially if like me, you only want a half dozen or less and the options overwhelming.

The haul was a bit inconsistent. While the raspberry filled jelly glazed was excellent, and the vanilla glazed damn good, the same can't be said for the sour creams, butternut nor blueberry. Those were thin, dry and perhaps, a few days past their prime. They also had a faint taste of deep frying oil.

Would definitely inquire about the "born on" date. I want Angel's to carry on for another 30 years, but don't want them resting on their bakery laurels. read more
