This little place is a gem. After many months that I spent here, I would venture to say this place may be my absolute favorite restaurant in Mexico. The toastads were bomb and had the perfect balance of black beans, fresh cheese and tangy salsa on top of a fresh and crispy corn tortilla. It was perfect. The combination of crunchy, cheesy, tangy and freshness made this my favorite bite in Veracruz and probably Mexico. Also loved the super fresh cheese empanadas. The cheese was sooo good and the fresh lettuce and sauce on top with the crispiness of the shell made me realize how good empanadas can be. Also loved the fresh limeade which reminded me a bit of simply made limeade back at home. We will definitely be coming to this restaurant again to order more bold and flavorful foods.
