I came here in high spirits/happy on a whim for a general reading. Besides the fact that this man gave me a terrible reading with absolutely zero insight or correct information about me or my life he harassed me and tried to manipulate me into doing things I said no to repeatedly. He barely said anything about me or my life at all. He asked me a bunch of questions. I was not forthcoming in my answers. I even said " You are asking me a lot of questions, aren't you the one that is supposed to be telling me?" He talked more in depth about himself and how much he helps people, bragged about how much money people give him to help them while pulling out a large stack of cash out of a black bag that he stated was over $10,000. I started to wonder when the reading would even start. I made it very clear that I was there for a general reading only and was not interested in working with him in the future in any way. He continued to try to use psychology and manipulation to get me to do things I didn't want to do. I made very clear statements " I do not want to take my shoes off or be rubbed with oil" " I'm not embarrassed, I just don't want to do that" " I am here for a general reading only and I have no intention of coming back or continuing to work with you in the future". When he continued to try to convince me to go into the cleansing room (a tiny room) over and over, spoke about masturbating, sex, continued to ask me to remove my jackets, shoes over and over. It crossed a line from let me make you comfortable to harassment. Both doors to the front entrance of the business had also been locked by him. I reported the incident to the AJPD the following day. I requested my money back from the original Psychic I spoke to on the phone when booking the appointment. She offered no apology. She did say she would send my money back, but asked me to wait and then never did and declined the request on Cashapp. She also declined to give me her business license number to operate in the city. I do not know what the name of this man was but he did say he was the father of the psychic that is always there. At one point he also stated that he was not a psychic and that he was a demonologist. When the situation began to feel unsafe, I got up to make my exit. The man refused to give me a price for the services. I had to get loud and forceful about leaving. I said "I'm leaving NOW, tell me what I owe you" multiple times. I was never told that they only accept cash prior to my visit or the "reading". He kept trying to convince me to continue working with him. When I was finally just going to leave without paying he called his daughter and got her cash app for me to pay. Please BEWARE, this is not a safe place for women or anyone. I'm also reporting them to the city and the BBB. I won't be silenced about this man's disgusting behavior and business practices. My visit was on the evening of 11-7-2024. The police report was filled on Friday 11-08-2024. This business was also given every opportunity to give me my money back and apologize. Even after the main Psychic told me she would refund me if I waited a few hours. They have yet to refund or apologize. read more
