One of the best, interactive meals I've had in years.
It starts with the space, a "studio apartment" with a quasi commercial kitchen. The space is small, intimate - in a very good way.
Adding to the atmosphere is a vinyl soundtrack of excellent selections. Motley Crue when we walked in and ending with the six album Swans performance. Ridiculous!
Every dish was well done on such a small kitchen. The concept plays through extraordinarily well. Particularly with Chef Grae Nonas, of Le Cowboy at the helm. How does he get this food out of that kitchen? Talent, truly! He's doing it alone, save the very good staff assisting.
We chose the Chef's Tasting with Wine Pairing and several supplements from the main menu.
Wine choices are on point. Eclectic, yet serious. They have a wine club for those interested and within shipping distance. You won't be disappointed.
Joe is your host for the evening. He's your DJ. He's also the Sommelier and guide. On a good night, you might be able to chill after hours with the team. Just saying...
