Did I select the Aragon hotel because it was one block off the famous Markt in Bruge, or because it was one letter off my favorite Lord of the Rings character.... maybe both! Orthographic neighbor's aside, we were charmed by the luxuriant and comfy accommodations. The room was beautiful, the lobby was opulent, and the staff gracious. However, the best feature was how the hotel was tucked away, just off the main road so that we did not hear a noise outside or early in the morning despite the Markt gearing up for some grand winter festival with trucks and construction crews working from dawn til dusk. read more
