I love this Salon! I have been looking for a reliable haircut for a long time. I never wanted to get my hair cut before because I was always afraid they would cut more than I wanted. When I booked my first appointment I asked for someone who specialized in curly hair, and oh boy did they deliver. Jeannie has cut my hair twice now and she is phenomenal. She listened to my concerns and gave me a gorgeous cut that fit my desires. She is also very friendly and a fantastic conversationalist. I recommend her to anyone, she has experience and finesse that comes from many years experience, and her cuts are worth every single penny. The salon recently moved from King St. to State. They are located in the Herald building. It was a little tricky to find on my first visit, you have to walk inside the building (I thought this building was just for the paper). It is located in the far back left hand corner on the first floor. I also found out after I arrived that visitor parking across the street can be used by salon patrons. It is two hour parking but if you need longer you can check in at reception for the Herald. The space is light and airy with an open concept. Funky art work and sleek furnishings give the place a great posh feeling. read more
