Had a great dining experience at Arnica on Duporth Avenue Maroochydore last night.
Great to see a near full restaurant when we arrived at 7.30pm.
We were cheerfully greeted when we arrived, and shown to our table right up against the window looking out over the moonlit Maroochy River experiencing a king tide.
Our young waiter, who appeared to be continental European knew his business, and looked after us well with great timing. Wine and water looked after for the night, great wine/meal matching advice.
A nice 2009 Vasse Felix Cab Sauvignon was enjoyed.
We opened with sea food entrée's. I had a lovely salmon mignon, Karen went straight for her favourite.....Scollaps. Both absolutely perfect.
For mains, I had a great eye fillet. Cooked to perfection - medium rare. Karen went for another favourite - lamb rack.
Presentation of the meals was 'A' grade.
A great experience. Worked out at about $180 for both of us, including the wine. A really good dining experience.
