To me Aroma's plus felt like walking into a cafeteria. Then I saw other people's plates and it got me hungry. A work colleague had mentioned they have a great turkey dinner for $10. When you get up to the order counter you can see it's served cafeteria style! When you receive your food it's really home cooking and not cafeteria food. I ordered the Jigg's "turkey dinner" dark meat on the recommendation from a true local Newfie. It was served as a heaping plate with my choice of gravy on top. What's a Jigg's turkey dinner you ask? I read online that it's a traditional Newfoundland Sunday Dinner. It's almost like a Christmas dinner complete with Turkey, mashed potato, turnips and carrots, peas and stuffing.
