The Art Float is a colorful display of handpainted, floating balls at Lake Evans in Fairmount Park. This art installation is said to be the largest art installation in the city's history! There are two lakes at Fairmount Park and you can find these giant balls at the bigger lake (Lake Evans). I think this is a great thing for the city of Riverside. Bringing the community together through art. They had students from the Riverside Unified School District Help paint these floating balls. It looks so much better in person! A few notes: * Street Parking near neighborhood available, just a short walking distance. * There are other parking spots but limited. * Make it an all-afternoon event with your kids.. bring lawn chairs or walking shoes to walk around the lake * Bring your camera * Be careful of the uneven terrain near the edge of the lake!
