I'm glad to not be the only who's had issues with Auben Realty not refunding the security deposit, charging extra, and not wanting to refund you. This company is absolutely crooked! Be very cautious of Auben Realty, better yet stay far away! They will make up false charges and refuse to pay back what they owe you. Upon moving out of the apartment it was cleaned and everything left intact as it was when I moved in the year before, minus one of the blinds. I was completely shocked when I received the disposition of itemized charges from my security deposit; specifically a false charge regarding the replacement of missing refrigerator shelves and drawers for $200. I then questioned the false charge and was sent a photo of an old out of date white refrigerator with missing components that was not in the apartment when I moved in or out. I explained to the property manager "Meagan Denson" that the photo she presented was inaccurate and not the refrigerator that was in my apartment. She then asked if I could provide photos of the refrigerator that was in the apartment, which I had no problem providing; along with videos. As the refrigerator that was in the apartment when I moved was stainless steel and definitely not white. Knowing the proof that I provided. How can you still fraudulently charge $200 when you have proof??? I will never conduct business with Auben Realty again and I recommend others do the same or do your research before hand. read more
