I was delighted to hear that Aubi & Ramsa had a location in the Design District! The first time I had ever tried it was at the Hard Rock hotel and casino. First things first, the ice cream is simply delicious. It's boozy and sweet and the combos they offer truly give that cocktail in an ice cream vibe that it seeks to give. I gave this location a 3 because the service was nothing to gush about. Considering the location, the novelty, and what a great date night desert spot this is, I would have loved to have been taken care of by someone with more passion for the brand. With that said, lots of potential for the ambiance, too. Not sure if the staff gets to choose the music but that night it was full on EDM experience. Don't get me wrong, I love all things house--but while I ate my Choco-Martini, something jazzier would have been nice. All in all, I would not skip trying Aubi & Ramsa because the product is a must-try, however, I might opt to visit other locations to see if the ambiance and service matches the quality of the product. read more
