I love Auntie Anne's. Although I am thrilled that I can get them in the GTA at long last, I still feel the need to get pretzel dogs whenever I am stateside.
I passed by this Auntie Anne's after spending some time shopping at the outlet mall. I realized that it was 3 pm and hadn't had lunch. Getting a bite to eat here was in order.
It was nice to walk into the store. It smelled so good. I looked at the pretzel dogs and minis. I first said that I wanted a pretzel bucket. The man at the counter looked at me funny. He showed me how large the bucket was. I told him that I was hungry and loved mini pretzel dogs, but not that much! I made him laugh.
What I wanted was a smaller container of mini pretzel dogs. I also needed a drink to wash everything down, so I ordered a Diet Pepsi fountain drink. I paid using my credit card.
Sadly, there's no place inside this store to sit down and eat. I did something a bit crazy. I took my food outside and sat on a bench. It was 1°C outside.
A young Chinese man helped hold the door open for me as I took my drink, pretzel dogs, two big bags of purchases, and me out of the store. I thanked him.
I found a bench, and plopped my purchases and me down. I proceeded to eat my mini pretzel dogs. The mini pretzel dogs were warm and delicious. There is something wonderful about pretzel dough wrapped around hot dogs and baked to perfection that makes me happy.
I was pretty warm outside until I held my icy drink. I then decided to go into Fossil to warm up!
My Diet Pepsi tasted great. It hit the spot, as did the mini pretzel dogs.
I'd come back here again to get my pretzel dog fix.
