This was by far the most I have ever indulged in a crab, in my lifetime. My boyfriend and I would walk by this location frequently. All we would do is stare at the giant crab in the tank! One day we could not help ourselves. Walk in and it is just as most Chinese restaurants ive been to. Round tables with a turntable, linen napkins. Straight for the seafood tank... My eyes twinkled at the AUSTRALIAN KING CRAB. We asked if we could order crab at a smaller portion. They only offer it fresh therefore we had to buy a whole crab. This isn't any ordinary crab... He was gigantuous! Dinner for two weighed in at 4 kilos. Ridiculous. So much so, they prepared it in 2 styles. Salt and pepper, which is my favorite... Crunchy and delicious. The other was ginger and shallots, more of a saucy preparation... A bit over empowering for me. Our crab came out to $700 AUD. Absolutely too much for 2 people to finish and spend. Would make more sense to have a large party. What can I say. I LOVE CRAB! Definitely one of my most memorable meals. read more
