BAIT & SWITCH! Advertised new car rate on Bankrate.com of 2.25% with min 750 credit on 8/01/2022. I made application, they pulled my credit which is 850 and approved me the same day. The person assigned to my loan said she'd contact me the following day to discuss. She never did. I called a few times to try to get someone, anyone on the phone for the details. At the very end of the day someone new called and told me the loan was reassigned to him and they could offer me a 4.something rate. He said 2.25% wasn't available to my state and he wasn't sure why the 2.25% rate was advertised. He also mentioned that if I wanted to move forward a car loan takes 2 weeks to deliver a check to the dealer. I was ready to take delivery of my new car. This company is shady. Wish I read the reviews first, but thought Bankrate was reputable. read more
