Autry Park is one of the newest urban villages to make home just off of Allen Parkway near Buffalo Bayou Park. The park itself is somewhat small but is surrounded by several dining and shopping attractions, as well as many new apartment buildings including Hanover Autry Park, Hanover Parkview, and Alta River Oaks. The space has become a popular spot for local farmer's markets, yoga sessions, food festivals, and more. And for good reason, too. There's several welcoming seating areas on the grassy lawn tucked under beautiful overarching trees. In the evening time, lantern lights, hung from these branches, switch on. The vibe is welcoming and relaxing, perfect for an evening stroll or to take a seat with a friend or date. Parking is available at the garage across the street, however it is not free.
