The website said they were open until 9 but the kitchen closes at 8. That would have been nice to know after hiking 12 hours and showing up to be told the kitchen was closed the moment I walked in. Now, that is too bad for me, because no celebratory meal after hiking my final NE 4000'er would have been Great after 12 hours on the trail. Around me people were eating nachos= no cooking. The place closes in 20 minutes, and they are still offering people desserts. I was not offered a dang thing except for the beer that I wanted (duh!). If it were not for Allagash, I would have given the place 1 star. The wrap up of the night was watching the guy just served next to me wiping his face on this camouflage sleeve as he is devouring an enormous stack of fries. SMH read more
