Bailey's Pub has got to be the personification of a great neighborhood dive bar - in the greatest sense of phrase. You walk in the door of this nonchalant exterior into its dark and somewhat foreboding interior and your back to the good old days of what a bar is supposed to be. From the darkness and shadows exudes an ambience of quiet, unpretentious and reclusive good feel of what a bar was meant to be. Be it quiet conversation with a buddy, talk things over with a terrific bartender, shelves full of almost anything drinkable, really cold tap brews and some munchies worth writing home about. This is what I remember the corner bar being and should be. These folks have been around for a while, and you can tell why. This watering hole offers ambience that on any day can ease you in a comforting, laid back and inviting way. We just happened to stumble on Bailey's by accident, and we're glad we did.
