Saturday May 25, 2024 9:45am I when in Shell to buy something to snack on. I pick up Chickostick. Standing in line waiting to pay I look to my right and notice some Crazy Candy pick that up. The young lady ring up my stuff and I really didn't take notice of cost. She ask me if I wanted a receipt and I said no. My husband and I was walking out out of the store and my husband said did you hear what she said? I said she ask me if I wanted a receipt. My Husband said no she ask you if you wanted to tip her. Are you kidding me. I have hearing inpairment I am deaf on the left side and about 80%of hearing on my right ear. So I don't pick up what people say to me sometimes. when I got in my car I got a notfication on my phone from my bank My total of the snack was 14.00. Wait ! did she just give herself a tip. By the time I figure this out we were all ready on the road. I wanted to stop on the way back home but my husbamd did not make that stop for me. I going to try to deal with this.
