Warning: Hostile and Discriminatory Behavior -- Avoid This Area We had an extremely disturbing experience at the local gas station and the store across the street. The food was awful, service was rude, and the environment was outright hostile -- especially toward anyone who isn't local. While we were wiping down our windows at the pump, an older man parked directly in front of us despite multiple open pumps nearby. He immediately became aggressive, using foul language to pressure us to move. When I calmly pointed out other available pumps, he escalated and began shouting at me, calling me names and acting like he wanted to start a fight. To make matters worse, two blonde women -- one of them apparently the man's daughter -- ran across the street, jumped in front of our car, and tried to block us from leaving. All we had done was call out the man's inappropriate behavior. That's when things took a darker turn. My wife, who is a minority, was subjected to racial slurs by these individuals. It was appalling. And then they had the nerve to act like we were the problem. The hypocrisy is absurd -- they harass us, block our car, shout slurs, and then try to flip the script. This isn't just bad customer service. It's harassment, intimidation, and blatant racism -- and it seems to be part of a larger pattern. I've spoken to others who have had similar encounters with the same people. If police review the surveillance footage, it will confirm exactly what happened. I also have my own video evidence, should it become necessary. This entitled, aggressive behavior -- especially from senior citizens who think they're above accountability -- is out of control. It's like a small-town echo chamber where locals band together to bully outsiders. Avoid both the gas station and the store across the street. This was a "Hills Have Eyes" type of situation -- deeply unsettling, and not safe for visitors. Someone needs to investigate these businesses and their management.
