This guy was highly recommended to me by a respected civil engineer I work with at the City of Los Angeles' Bureau of Engineering. I needed a design plan to remove a structural load-bearing wall for my kitchen remodel. He was easy to get ahold of and came by to investigate promptly. His fee was reasonable, and he quickly generated an easy to read plan for another very reasonable price. Once I got started, there were unforseeable problems in every direction. Alex again was very easy to get ahold of and was very familiar and knowledgeable about the problems I encountered, and that specific municipality's inspection agency requirements and preferences. The job went off without a hitch on his end. We even had a successful earthquake test the other night and we held up with flying colors. I have recommended Alex to my friends as an excellent choice for a residential structural engineer. He's the guy you're looking for. read more
