Who doesn't love a quintessential English tea experience? (At least at this age...) if you ever find yourself in Bath, you have to visit The Bath Bun for a classic high tea.
Located in the peaceful Abbey Green, you can sit inside or outside, and pick from 18+ different teas from around the world. Indulge in a delicious scone, or the famous Bath Bun with some preserves or my favorite- clotted cream.
I've visited The Bath Bun twice, once in the cold month of February, sitting inside. We also visited in the month of May, and enjoyed the outdoor seating. Both experiences were wonderful! Sitting outside you have a beautiful view of the London Plane Tree which is from the nineteenth century, the main attraction of the Abbey. If you are fortunate enough to get a seat outside you'll also be able to hear live music from street performers in the Abbey Churchyard.
The Bath Bun does not take reservations, so be sure to time your visit well. They also serve breakfast and lunch if high tea is not your jam .
