For a complex that is not located on the beach, I was impressed with what Bayview has to offer! It is located on Canal Rd just 1/2 block from Hwy 161 (road connects to beach blvd) in Orange Beach Alabama. It's minutes from the beach and has everything boaters want when coming to vacation to the gulf. The complex has boat slips on a 1st come 1st serve basis but what's even better is that you can launch onsite and store your boat or trailer too! Many places that have boat slips either does not have a place to launch or guest must find a place to store the boat trailer which can be a hassle. There is a large lot at the front of the complex for the boats plus more spots along with back side near the onsite launch area. There is a gate at the launch site and a code needed to gain access and this prevents anyone from being able to launch their boat. Only Bayview guest have access! Other amenities is an outdoor pool with restrooms and a tennis court with a basketball court on one end. Even though Bayview is not on the beach, Hwy 161 is less than 1/2 a block away. So guest are within minutes to the beach! There is a public beach access area just to the left off Hwy 161 once you reach Beach Blvd. Bayview is also surrounded by shops, fast food places, fine restaurants, and nightlife. There is McDonalds, Dominos, Pizza Hut, SubWay, FishCamp Restaurant, Docs Seafood, 2 convenient stores, liqueur store, and much more all within walking distance from the complex. Great place to try out on anyone's next trip to the beach!
