I was driving up north but 95 was back up so I rerouted onto Rt. 1 (Richmond Hwy), as I was passing through Dumfries, I notice a new place but couldn't make out the name because the lettering was too small to read. As I parked, this place is located in a strip mall with other businesses such as Papa Johns Pizza and Feng's Gardens. As you walked in, the restaurant is clean, some decor and limited seatings but manageable. The menu is on wall, as well as kiosk machine or you can also place an order with the cashier. As I was making an order with the male cashier, he informed me that they have no bread for any banh mi sandwiches. Then I try to order chicken and crouffle but again they were out of that item. So my back up plan, I ordered chicken pho and soy garlic chicken. Both of the soy garlic chicken rice bowl and chicken pho arrived to the table in a eco friendly containers. First the rice bowl, the chicken was tender, well seasoned but the vegetables (shredded lettuce, carrots and cucumbers) were crunchy but the ratio of shredded lettuce overpowered the entire dish. I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be kept raw or be cooked. On the wall menu, there wasn't a description about the dish but it was tasty. The chicken pho was on point. The chicken and rice noodles were tender, broth was full on umami and the condiments can either be place in the bowl or kept separately. The hoisin and sriracha is already prepackaged in à plastic ramekin but if you need extra, just asked. The utensils are place on the counter next to the cashier. They also offer a variety of beverages such as milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, coffees, lemonades and slushies. They are fairly new so be a little patient so they can work out all the kinks if any. All the staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. I will make another visit to try other items on their menu. read more
