Hired to load & unload in a local move. Arrived on time and we had high hopes for the move. There was much more standing around talking than we thought was fair considering we paid by the hour, and when compared to the help we hired through U-Haul a little less than a year prior. But, we then paid a hour and a half more at twice the rate it was when we booked without dispute when it took them longer than anticipated. Movers broke our dining room table & a side table during the unloading process. Only after the truck as completely empty were we informed that they're uninsured. That would have been good to know before we selected them because we wouldn't have. Upon completion they stood in my home and told us to file a claim through U-Haul to get our items replaced due to their lack of insurance. When we did they lied and said it was our fault. We're still waiting for that resolution, but the lack of integrity is super disappointing. Hire with caution. read more
