This was my first time visiting Billy D's and we only came across it because there was a wild fire nearby our usual driving range. Am I ever glad we found this place!! We came at 7:50 even though it says they close at 8pm the owner was so nice and let us get a couple buckets of balls. We brought the kids to practise hitting some balls and they loved it here.
The owner told us he just invested and upgraded the tee off mats and tarmac where you tee off. It looks so nice!! The greens you stand on are brand new and cushy! It's clean here and they even have flushable toilets.
In the clubhouse (which is accessible with a ramp) there are some chairs and tables. It's slightly outdated inside the clubhouse but you're not really spending time in there anyways. There is a small store to buy Powerade and other things. And also a deck with some tables and chairs too. There are a few benches for sitting while you wait or watch people tee off.
They also have a putting area to practise your putting on which is a nice addition. Overall this place is a great small business and was not busy at all which was really nice! We will definitely be back here all summer long. Check this place out if you're in the southside and looking for a sweet driving range. Reasonably priced as well!! read more
