What does Binary Bar not do? Apart from raves, I certainly can't think of anything.
It serves food: breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a brand new menu that's very cheap, especially the Panini and chips for less than £4. It also does a bigger burger than anyone can eat at only £6.50. And as Alexandra S mentions, all pizzas are £6. For me the best is a cross between an American Hot and a Sloppy Giuseppe (if you're familiar with Pizza Express terminology) and in my opinion it's as good as both. For the mornings they do coffees, teas and muffins also available in a meal deal, and it's a lovely spot to sit and use the internet.
Drinks are remarkably cheap, especially in their January Sale going on at the moment. Corona and Peroni is available for just £1.50! Half the price of anywhere else in the area. Even outside the sale period its pretty good value, with Cocktails from £3.95. Yes, they do Cocktails as well!
They have a massive projector screen showing all live sport so it's a great place to catch the football. Often on a Monday they have movie nights showing anything from classic films to modern blockbusters (pick up a leaflet for the schedule).
They also have live music and DJs on occasion and the place showcases art that's available from a lovely little gallery thirty seconds down the road. Its also open till 2am on the weekends and midnight during the week!
The best part is a room at the back you can book out, with space for about 10-15, a big screen to watch sport, a playstation and a wii!
Binary Bar is worth a visit whatever time of day or night. read more
