Home Studio Cleanliness: 10/10 Experience: 10/10 Time of Returning Photos: 2-3 days I used Birhan Studio's service twice: 1) The first time, I needed headshots for the Miss Rockville/Miss America competition. 2) The second time: He and I were doing a collaboration for different outfits. He currently has a home studio set up on the second floor. As a model, I am accustomed to home studios since I have worked with many photographers with a studio set-up in their house. His studio setup was on the smaller end but it was well-organized and you are able to get both headshots and full-body shots. He used his office space efficiently and linked his photos directly to his computer so that you could preview the photos immediately to see if you like them. He is knowledgeable of light set-up and will ensure that there is proper lighting before taking the photos. Once that is set-up, it takes about 15-30 minutes/outfit. He also helps direct the poses, making me feel comfortable! For returning the photos, he does edit them. The editing style is a mix, sometimes it looks a little "too perfect," while other times, it looks a little more natural. Inform him of the editing kind of style you want if you are particular. I received the photos in about 2-3 days, which is quicker than some other photographers in the area who send them around 2 weeks. The photos are sent via a website called "pixieset," making them easy to purchase and download. Both photoshoots I had with her were studio photoshoots, so I am unsure how he is like in natural lighting or outside photos. Overall, I would definitely do another photoshoot with him!
