The stylist did not listen or communicate with me about the mohawk during the entire event, at least based on a couple key things I said I wanted that were not followed, to the point where she drew vampire fangs on the back of my head in my hair even though that was never discussed. I used "fangs" to represent the back of my neck where the hair is not in a straight line, and my wording was "keep the fangs because that's where the mohawk starts, then in a round line up to my temples". Aside from weird things like that, she also butchered the actual mohawk. It's too thin by almost two inches, she carved my head up when she was shaving, despite my saying several times that my head was being scratched, and it's totally crooked. I went from having over a foot-long of luscious hair all over my head to a tiny rat-tail and a mangled mohawk. There's no way to fix it quickly, my hair is totally ruined after a year of work to get it ready for my mohawk. I'm distraught, I have been crying all night and part of this morning, but unlucky for me I didn't check their refund policy so I'm stuck eating the $63 I paid for it. Idk if I'll ever go to another hairdresser after this, I might just enlist friends and family next time so that I can be sure that the person cutting my hair CARES about my hair.
