We came up to Big Canoe to visit some friends. It was our first time going to the Black Bear Pub with them. We were a group of eight and they seated us promptly. Our server came over quickly and got our drink orders. We had the meatballs and fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and both were tasty. I had the hanger steak and it was delicious. I especially loved the brussels sprouts that came with it. My husband had the salmon and even though he asked for it to be cooked medium, it was more well done. Still had great flavor but was definitely overcooked. We had a great evening here and I look forward to coming back again. read more
