This spot is a true hidden gem with such a cute, welcoming vibe as soon as you walk in. We were greeted by Shelly, who was also our waitress, and her customer service was amazing--super attentive and detail-oriented without being overbearing.
We started with a lemon drop martini, which was fantastic. Then came the Hot Crab Dip... and wow. Hands down the BEST crab dip I've ever had. Big, perfectly seasoned chunks of crab with a rich, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture--absolutely worth the hype.
The Cajun deviled eggs were just okay flavor-wise, but the presentation was beautiful. For our mains, we tried the blackened redfish special topped with crawfish sauce over potatoes--so flavorful--and a basket of fried oysters with fries. The fries were fresh, thick-cut potatoes fried to perfection, which I always appreciate.
For dessert, we had the bread pudding with banana rum, and OMG... so delicious. We also tried the beignets--definitely recommend eating those fresh and hot instead of taking them to go.
