Visited Bob's Seafood for lunch on my recent trip to Maine. We opted to sit outside. Our waitress came to take our orders and it was pretty quick. I got to try the calamari, bacon wrapped scallops, and lobster roll. The calamari had a little too much breading for my liking, but was good otherwise. The bacon wrapped scallops came with a maple dipping sauce, but it was definitely better without it. The lobster roll was a Maine style, served cold and tossed with mayo. I prefer the Connecticut style lobster roll served hot with melted butter. But I was in Maine so i guess it checks out. Cheaper and better than the restaurants I visited in Portland proper. read more
